 +=====Introduction ====
 +
 +Building on the success of past CANDAR symposiums held in various cities across Japan, including Matsuyama in 2013, Shizuoka in 2014, Sapporo in 2015, Hiroshima in 2016, Aomori in 2017, Takayama in 2018, Nagasaki in 2019, and virtual events in 2020 and 2021, as well as Himeji in 2022 and Matsue in 2023, CANDAR 2024 will take place in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. The CANDAR 2024 symposium aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their latest findings and experiences in all aspects of computing and networking, ranging from theoretical research to practical system development, including parallel and distributed systems, algorithms, architectures, and applications. In addition to technical sessions featuring contributed papers, the symposium will also offer invited presentations, poster sessions, tutorials, and workshops. We are confident that participants will gain new insights and ideas related to computing and networking. CANDAR'24 will be held in Naha, Okinawa, Japan, from November 26 to 29, 2024.
 +
 +We are delighted to announce that CANDAR 2024 will be held exclusively **in person**, meaning that this event will take place only on-site. Join us for stimulating discussions, networking opportunities, and the chance to present your latest research in the beautiful setting of Okinawa, Japan. We look forward to welcoming you to this engaging event where scholars from around the world will convene to exchange ideas and insights.

 +===== Publication  =====
 +The main symposium Proceedings (CANDAR) and workshop Proceedings (CANDARW) will be published by the **[[https://www.computer.org/conferences/cps|Conference Publishing Services (CPS)]]** and will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries for online publication. The papers will also be submitted for indexing by INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services. The proceedings will be published in two separate volumes: CANDAR main symposium (CANDAR) and CANDAR workshops (CANDARW).
