BIR'13

1st International Workshop on BioImage Recognition

To be held in conjunction with CANDAR'13, Matsuyama, Japan, December 4-6, 2013

The main goal of this workshop is to provide a timely forum for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques and research in the field of Machine Learning for BioImage Recognition. The workshop is meant to promote research on applications of Machine Learning for BioImag Recognition. We are convinced that the workshop will be conducive to open and mutually beneficial exchanges of ideas between the participants of these areas.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

  • BioImage Recognition Algorithms
  • Image Processing Algorishtms for Bio-Medical Image Analysis
  • Machine Learning Algorithms for BioImage Recognition
  • Paralell and Distributed Computing for Machine Learning of Large-scale Data
  • Pattern Recognition Algorithms for Large-scale Data

Paper format

  • Regular paper: 5-7 pages
  • Poster paper: 3-4 pages

Submission Instruction

Publication

The conference and workshop proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Service and submitted to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries. Also they are submitted for indexing through INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services.
