We are planning the following three social events.

Buffet-style party at observation room of Higashi Hiroshima City Hall.

Dinner party at Kurara.

A half-day afternoon bus tour. We will visit the following places:

• Lunch at Oyster BBQ restaurant
• Kure boat cruise
• Yamato Museum
• JMSDF Kure Museum

Yamato Museum and JMSDF Kure Museum are very close to JR Kure station. So you can go back using JR trains after visiting them. Also, the bus will leave for Hiroshima Airport and arrive there around 19:00PM. After that, it will go to JR Saijo Station. Due to the limitation of boat seats, we can accept 50 people, first come, first served.

Since the symposium registration (Speaker/Non-speaker registration) does not includes the social event tickets, the symposium registrants must purchase the tickets in advance to join the social events. The tickets must be purchased through PayPal page above. You will receive discount rate if you pay by October 20. We do not accept bank transfer for the social events. Since banquet and excrusion need advance reservation, we do not accept on-site payment.

Refund is not possible for every speaker registration. Cancellations for the regular registration and event tickets must be received in writing to organizer16@is-candar.org on or before November 1, 2016, to receive a 70-percent refund. Cancellations received after November 1, 2016 are not entitled a refund.
