The Second International Conference on Networking and Computing
Osaka, Japan, November 30 – December 2, 2011
Technically Cosponsored by IEICE Technical Committee on Computer Systems
In cooperation with Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University
International Conference on Networking and Computing (ICNC) will serve as a forum for scientists and engineers of academy and industry around the world to exchange and discuss the latest research findings in all aspects of networking and computing including parallel and distributed systems, architectures, and applications. In addition to technical sessions consisting of contributed papers, the conference will include invited presentations, a poster session, tutorials, and workshops. We believe that participants will get new ideas and research results of networking and computing. Following ICNC'10 in Hiroshima, the Second International Conference on Networking and Computing will be held in Osaka from November 30-December 2, 2011.
Osaka is the second largest city in Japan. Its metropolitan area is highly ranked in the world, with nearly 18 million people. The tourist attractions include: Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan (famous for the world's second-largest aquarium tank), Universal Studios Japan, Osaka Castle Park, Shitennō-ji(the oldest buddhist temple in Japan, established in 593 AD), etc. Also, other famous tourist cities, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe are only 30-minute distance by local train.
The conference invites papers on all aspects of parallel and distributed computing and networking, and their applications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Track1: Algorithms and Applications
Track 2:Architecture and Computer System
Track 3: Networking and Grid
Track 4: Software and Middleware
The conference and workshop proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Service and archived to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries. Also they are arranged for indexing through INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services.
Papers reporting original and unpublished research results and experience are solicited. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and they are required to assign copyright to IEEE. Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the conference, and present the paper. Please see Submission for the details.
