Workshop Paper Submission Instruction

Important: papers will be reviewed by double blind, so they should not contain authors names and affiliations. Papers do not follow the submission guidelines including paper format, page length, and anonymity of authors, will be rejected without review.

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit the plain text of the abstract and the PDF of the paper through EasyChair. If you do not have an EasyChair account, you must create it first.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Papers reporting original and unpublished research results and experience are solicited. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Submissions imply the willingness of at least one author to register, attend the symposium, and present the paper. Authors should upload their manuscripts in the PDF. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit the plain text of the abstract and the PDF of the paper through EasyChair. If you do not have an EasyChair account, you must create it first.

For paper submission, you need to login EasyChair as an author, choose new submission menu, select track (eg. PDAA for workshop PDAA), and then click Continue button. When the authors submit the abstracts but want to submit the papers later, they should select Abstract Only check box and submit the plain text of the abstract. Once the authors submit the abstract by the workshop abstract submission due, they can upload/update the paper anytime before the workshop paper submission due.

Double-blind review

Papers should NOT contain authors names and affiliations. Also, in the reference list, papers by the authors should be substituted with the string “omitted for blind review”. Papers do not satisfy these conditions for double-blind review may be rejected without review. During the review process, authors name will be hidden from reviewers.

Paper Format

Submitted paper must use IEEE standard US-letter two-column format (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) for workshop proceedings. Excluding WANC workshop, Regular papers and Poster papers must be 5-7 pages and 3-4 pages using IEEE two-column format, respectively. For WANC workshop, Short papers and Poster papers must be 4-5 pages and 2-3 pages using IEEE two-column format, respectively. Papers submitted as regular/short papers may be accepted as poster papers.

Abstract pre-submission

The plain text of the abstract must be submitted by the workshop abstract submission due. After that, the PDF of the paper must be submitted by the workshop paper submission due. Also, the authors can submit both the abstract and the paper at the same time by the workshop abstract submission due. The reviewers of papers will be selected based on the submitted abstract.

No Show Policy

At least one author must register for each paper, and deliver a talk at the symposium site. Papers that do not presented by the author (no-show paper) will be removed from the IEEE digital library, even if the author has paid for the registration fee. No Show
