CANDAR'14
The Second International Symposium on Computing and Networking
— Across Practical Development and Theoretical Research —
Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka, Japan, December 10-12, 2014
Technically Cosponsored by IEICE Technical Committee on Computer Systems
Venue
The symposium will be held at Grandship, Shizuoka Convention & Arts Center in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Granship is located in front of the South Gate of JR Higashi Shizuoka Station.
Introduction
Following the success of past ICNC conferences, 2010 in Hiroshima, 2011 in Osaka, and 2012 in Okinawa, and CANDAR symposium 2013 in Matsuyama, CANDAR 2014 will be held in Shizuoka, Japan. CANDAR 2014 will serve as a forum for exchanging the latest findings and experiences ranging from theoretical research to practical system development in all aspects of computing and networking including parallel and distributed systems, algorithms, architectures, and applications. In addition to technical sessions consisting of contributed papers, the symposium will include invited presentations, a poster session, tutorials, and workshops. We believe that participants will get new ideas and insight of computing and networking. CANDAR'14 will be held in Shizuoka City, Japan, from December 10-12, 2014. Shizuoka city is well-known for the foot of Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. The Mt. Fuji has been selected as a UNESCO world heritage as a cultural heritage site in 2013.
Publication
The symposium and workshop proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Service and submitted to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries. Also they are submitted for indexing through INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISI, and other indexing services. Please note that CPS enforces a “no show” policy and only papers that are presented by an author at the symposium site will be sent for inclusion in the digital libraries
